PSA: Financial Aid Pledges to Reduce Student Debt

"Low-income students and families often assume that college is financially out of reach, or that they will need to borrow heavily to cover all the costs. However, financial aid can make a college education much more affordable than the "sticker price" might imply. A number of schools have developed special targeted financial aid "pledges" that limit or eliminate student loans from financial aid packages, and reduce costs for students and families. Pledges send a strong message about financial expectations and affordability to low- and middle-income students."
